How Kwanzaa is Celebrated
The name Kwanzaa is derived from the phrase matunda ya kwanza which means first fruits, or harvest, in Swahali. Celebrations often include singing and dancing, storytelling, poetry reading, African drumming and feasting. This video is a repost from Inside Edition. 4F4J posted this video from youtube.

The Uproar Project is an entertainment group that promotes peace and inclusivity through arts and entertainment. We started brainstorming shortly after the Parkland shooting in 2018, launched our first rally in May 2019 & became a non-profit by Jan 2020. The Uproar Project started on the behalf of humanity. The Uproar raises attention to human rights by including all communities and the youth.
Hate crimes and violence are starting to occur too often, so we intend to normalize peaceful co-existence through our art showcases, events and segments.
